Hi, I’m Amber Grabowski! I am so happy you are here!

Design holds a special place in my heart. I can remember from a young age having a fondness for interior design; and at that time, never imagining the impact it would eventually have on me, evolving me to be who I am today. I always took keen interest in renovations, constantly thinking of ways to transform each room in my childhood home and redecorating my own room constantly, insisting it needed a “refresh”. What began as a childhood obsession quickly turned into my passion and career; transforming the interiors of clients’ homes to fit their needs, wants, and desires, down to the littlest detail.

Over the years I have developed a distinguished eye and ability to craft spaces that hold equal parts comfort and appeal. Having 12+ years in the design world, I have found myself fortunate enough to work along side peers, learning lessons that have made me the designer I am today. I started my professional career in design working for one of the top retailers for home furnishings as a visual merchandising manager. I worked closely with corporate and within several stores all leading to opening a brand new brick and mortar here in Nashville. It came time to fulfill my dream of being an interior designer and that of which I worked so hard to get too. For the next several years I had the wonderful opportunity to work for a husband and wife interior design firm. Working as the right hand to the principal designer, I acquired so many imperative lessons needed in the industry. I believe people are brought into our lives for a reason and I’m grateful for all that I was able to learn while being there. Next in my journey was the beautiful gift of becoming a mother to my first born baby boy. With that came opportunity and choosing to get the best of both worlds, being a mom and opening my own design firm A House Collective. This has brought the privilege to be at home and curate the interior design projects that align with A House Collective’s goals.

Having my background in visual merchandising, a degree in both business and interior design has helped ground the many relationships within a project to seamlessly bring my clients’ vision to reality. I specialize in home renovations, kitchen and bath remodels, and furnishing projects that scale from one room to a full house. My main goal as a designer is to help my clients refine their personal style and ultimately guide them through the process of creating spaces surrounding them into a place they cherish and call home. I truly believe that the scenery of life’s everyday moments deserve to be celebrated with design that makes us feel good.

Amongst being the founder and principal designer of Nashville based interior design firm A House Collective, you will find me spending time with what I treasure most, my husband, two sons and furry black pups.
